RACHEL LEVITT
Co-Chair
Rachel Levitt has worked as a community organizer and activist in California, New Mexico, and Kansas. Their advocacy efforts have included working on Native liberation projects, anti-police brutality organizing, crafting affirming transgender inclusive education policies, gender-neutral bathroom access, trans inclusive healthcare, sexual violence education, and most recently, organizing against bills that target trans children. Rachel works at K-State as a faculty member in the Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies department and serves on the university’s Transgender Taskforce. In their spare time, they enjoy cooking and smashing the patriarchy. Rachel Levitt currently serves as the Co-Chair.
Mariya Vaughan
Co-Chair
Mariya was born and raised in Riley County. She has a passion for teaching and working with first-year and underrepresented students to help in their transition to higher education. She works at K-State as the Assistant Director for K-State First and is the Co-Chair for the on-campus LGBTQ* Faculty and Staff Alliance and member of the Transgender Taskforce. She served as the Vice-Chair of FHHRP from 2019-2020, an At-Large Board Member from 2017-2020, and currently serves as the Co-Chair.
Kevin Stilley
Treasurer
Kevin was born and raised in Riley County, and his family history in the area goes back to the 1800s. Kevin is everyone's gay uncle, and is widely involved in the local community. He has served as the FHHRP Treasurer since 2014.
