FHHRP Partners with Mutual Aid MHK
A large and growing number of people in our community have had their lives severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. They need food, shelter, healthcare, financial support, internet access, transportation, and more. We can do something about this right now - with Mutual Aid. FHHRP is proud to support the efforts of Mutual Aid MHK, which is organized by Northview Rising here in Manhattan.
Mutual Aid is here. Mutual Aid MHK is a growing grassroots network of concerned community members, each offering what they can to support those in need.
Mutual Aid is simple. We coordinate our volunteers and resources, and match them with the needs of the community.
Mutual Aid is for everyone. Mutual Aid is a way of expressing solidarity with our fellow community members. If you need support, we will strive to find it for you. If you can offer support, we will do our best to coordinate you with those who need it. We are in this together.
We believe our community is only as strong as our most vulnerable, and that solidarity is a practice that is for everyone. This includes marginalized folkx, undocumented, elderly, LGTBQ+, low-income, and anyone in need.
